Table Talk is a casual event in an intimate setting where Dr. Robert A. Morey takes a break from delivering an outlined lecture and passes you the mic to ask questions. Table Talk 03 -- Q1: This question is a request to explain the Lord's Prayer. Dr. Morey gives an extended answer.

Table Talk 03 -- Q2: Could you give us more detail on prayer and teach us how to pray?

Table Talk 03 -- Q3: This is a two-part question: 1. I've heard you say we should argue with God in prayer. Why, and on what basis would we argue with the sovereign God in prayer? 2. What are the circumstances in which god won't hear our prayer?

Table Talk 03 -- Q4: Is there any differnce with Whom we address our prayers to, as in Father, Son, or Holy Spirit?

Table Talk 03 -- Q5: Can we take examples of David's prayer and use them for the way we should pray?

Table Talk 03 -- Q7: Does God speak today apart from the Bible?

Table Talk 03 -- Q8: How would God speak? Would it be a small voice or a sign?

Table Talk 03 -- Q9: Can you exegete Hebrews 1:1 in terms to its relation to God's revelation?

Table Talk 03 -- Q10: You mentioned it is rare when God gives revelation. What about people that say that God speaks to them and tells them to make a left while driving, then a right, etc. ? Is this an extreme?

Table Talk 03 -- Q11: Can a group of believers administer the Lord's Supper in a casual Bible Study?

Table Talk 03 -- Q12: In light of what you have just taught about Apocalyptic Literature, how are we supposed to take or understand Isaiah 65?

Table Talk 03 -- Q13: I have a question on Revelation 14:13 where Christ says, "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord from henceforth." I'am wondering what he means by that particular phrase in that verse.

Table Talk 03 -- Q15: From God's perspective, what's the difference between living together and marriage?

Table Talk 03 -- Q16: Jesus said he came to do the will of his Father. He also asked for the cup to be taken from him if there was any other way. On the cross he said God had forsaken him. Can you help me understand all of this?

Table Talk 03 -- Q17: What are the similarities and differences between Christ and Adam?

Table Talk 03 -- Q18: Was Jesus referencing Psalm 22 when he said: "my God, my God, why hae you forsaken me?"

Table Talk 03 -- Q19: What happened to the soul of Jesus the three days and nights he was with God? And what happened when he went to Hades?

Table Talk 03 -- Q20: Regarding eternal punishment, Jude 7 in Spanish it reads: "suffering the judgment of eternal fire." How do we answer someone that says that Sodom and Gomorrah are not on fire right now and therefore punishment is not eternal?

Table Talk 03 -- Q21: We have demons out and about the world today, aren't they the fallen angels?

Table Talk 03 -- Q22: Were the sons of God in Genesis 6 fallen angels?

Table Talk 03 -- Q23: In the book of Hebrews it talks about entertaining angels unaware. Is that still possible today?

Table Talk 03 -- Q24: You said that angels can have bodies and that demons could have sex. I have some problems with that. Can you explain that?

Table Talk 03 -- Q25: In Genesis 9:6 it says that whoever sheds the blood of man by blood shall his blood be shed. Is the verb "shall" a command or a prophecy?

Table Talk 03 -- Q26: In reference to Hebrews 5:8-9, when it says Jesus learned obedience by his suffering and was made perfect, is this literally saying suffering made Jesus' human nature perfectt?

Table Talk 03 -- Q27: How does the Contemporary English Version stand as a translation?

Table Talk 03 -- Q28: Can you clear up my confusion about Jesus' divinity and his human nature?

Table Talk 03 -- Q29: Will we be able to eat and not get fat in the eternal state?

Table Talk 03 -- Q30: Salvation is of the Lord, right? And God is the one who saves us, right? If God is the one who saves us, how can we lose our salvation?

Table Talk 03 -- Q31: There is a verse in James 5, verse 19, that says if you help people that are sinning that you help save them from a multitude of sins.

Table Talk 03 -- Q32: As a preacher of the gospel, do we have to preach to everyone since we don't know who the elect are?

Table Talk 03 -- Q33: Do you have a recommendation of a book on dispensationalism?

Table Talk 03 -- Q34: I've been unable to locate commentaries by William Hendriksen. Do you have any recommendations?

Table Talk 03 -- Q35: In the Psalms it says you are gods. Jesus quotes that, but why on earth did he quote it? What meaning does it have?

Table Talk 03 -- Q36: You briefly said there's a great deal we can learn from the genealogies. Can you expound on that ?

Table Talk 03 -- Q37: I'am studying inerrancy right now. Can you help me out with some resources?

Table Talk 03 -- Q38: What did you mean by non-canonical special revelation?

Table Talk 03 -- Q39: Jesus said, "My sheep will hear my voice." Is this literal voice or is it his gospel?

Table Talk 03 -- Q40: I was in England recently, and Christianity seems to be dying out. Why is this?

Table Talk 03 -- Q41: Would you suggest possibly that the rise in Calvinism has to do with the fact that maybe many of the Arminians have gone down the path to its end and have left the church?

Table Talk 03 -- Q42: In Psalm 8 it says, "What is man that thou are mindful of him and the son of man that thou visitest him? Is that a Hebraic expression of two different references to man, man and son man?
