Exposing the Militant Homosexual Agenda
It is unfortunate that the militant "homosexual" movement, which has gained immense political and cultural power during the past 20 years, has used lies to change laws and to gain footholds in our educational, media and government system. The so-called "gay rights" movement grew out of the "sexual liberation" movement of the 1960's and its birth came from the "Stonewall riot" that occurred on June 11, 1969. Then in the 70's the American Psychiatric Association was intimidated in 1973 into removing homosexuality from its official list of mental disorders. When the homosexuals were trying to convince the public that their lifestyle was normal, healthy, and just another alternative lifestyle ( see a study by Alan P. Bell and Martin S. Wineburg in 1978 and published in their book entitled Homosexuality: A Study of Diversity Among Men and Women reported that 43 percent of homosexuals had more than five hundred sex partners during their lifetime), then AIDS appears among promiscuous homosexual men. Aids--was originally named GRID (gay-related immunodeficiency disease) until the homosexuals forced the medical establishment to switch the generic acronym AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome).
This posed a great PR problem for homosexuals. In 1988, 175 homosexual activists groups held a war conference in Warrenton, Virginia. Their purpose was to implement a strategy for their movement's future. Hunter Madsen and Marshall Kirk wrote a comprehensive book entitled After the Ball on public relations for advocating gay-rights. They saw an opportunity with the AIDS epidemic to establish themselves as a victimized minority that deserves special privileges. It's ultimate "war goal" is to force acceptance of homosexual culture and silence opposition.
Do not be misled or intimidated by the homosexual movement calling individuals Nazis who do not agree with their lifestyle and agenda--they are misrepresenting history. Many of the early Nazis were homosexuals, according to William L. Shirer who wrote the book entitled The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, which is considered a definitive work on Nazi Germany. Many so-called "hate" crime bills that are proposed or implemented in States (the Congress has been attempting to pass federal "hate" crimes" legislation for years and finally did get a bill passed) are really meant to restrict or prohibit freedom of religion, speech and persecute people of faith. In Canada it is illegal to criticize other religions or homosexuality--they use the "hate" crime law to prosecute people. Don't be fooled. Homosexuality like, pedophilia, drunkenness, adultery, murder, etc. are sins against a holy righteous God who determines right or wrong--not man! "Let all the world fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him; because he spoke and it came to be, because he commanded, and it stood fast" (Psalm 33:8-9, ISV). [It should be noted that Muslims also condemn homosexuality. Does the Bible condemn homosexuality?
The Bible is very clear on homosexuality—it condemns the behavior as sin in addition to fornication (sex outside of marriage), adultery, androgyny, cross-dressing (Deut. 22:5), bestiality, covetousness, lying, perjury, murder, etc. The following Bible verses make this very clear:
- "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22, NASB.)
- "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them." (Leviticus 20:13, NASB.)
- "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, NASB.)
- "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper." God created Adam and Eve in His image and instituted marriage as a creation ordinance for all mankind in Genesis. Genesis 2:23-24 states:
The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
“And For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.”
Yes, marriage is a creation ordinance, not a church sacrament! This is what God has ordained. Any nation in history that promoted the homosexual lifestyle always suffered judgment from God—see Genesis 19 for what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. (In ancient Rome and Greece homosexuality1 , child sex and rape, incest, prostitution, abortion, infanticide and murder for entertainment was common and accepted and did not change until Christianity started influencing the culture and, as a result, changed the pagan laws.) This is why the lifestyle should not be legitimized and resisted. Of course, this in no way implies that homosexuals should be mistreated. They are still in God’s image as are heterosexuals who are in a sinful lifestyle such as fornication. You should pray for the salvation of a homosexual as you would for a heterosexual; however, if the lifestyle is being promoted in the schools, government, corporations, this does not negate a Christian’s civic duty to oppose such promotion. This is an offense to God when the citizens of a nation, especially Christians, are not standing up for righteousness. Why is the Lordship of Christ not being applied to all areas of Life? The 1901 ASV, the KJV, translate it as "abusers of themselves." The NASB and NKJV translate it as "homosexuals." The NIV as "homosexual offenders." The RSV as "sexual perverts."
